Darin’s passion for hospitality began at the age of 13 when he started working in restaurants. While completing his MBA and BS in Hospitality Management at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, Darin moved into the hotel business testing the waters in banquets, convention services, and finally landing in sales where he found his true calling. Whenever he wasn't in school Darin was excelling working in resorts, earning many accolades including a CHSP certification, 2015 HyPerformer (top 11-20% of sales in the company), 2016 Elite Performer (top 10% of sales in the company), and 2016 Manager of the 1st quarter.
Darin joins Reunion Resort from the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, where he was the director of sales and marketing. He has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, including working as associate director of sales at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and director of mid-Atlantic accounts at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. He was also a national sales manager at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, showcasing his expansive understanding of the Southeast market.
A true family man, when he’s not working, Darin’s passions include the New York Giants, playing golf, cooking, and spending time traveling the world with his wife, Jessica, and their two children ages four and 11 months.
As Director of Sales and Marketing at Reunion Resort, Darin will oversee Central Florida’s premier vacation destination’s sales and marketing strategies, including driving business, revenue and overall brand awareness.
